This new young talent, Daniele De Rossi, would soon be the next big thing in the international level of soccer. Coming strait out of the youth national team squad, De Rossi was immediatly put on the Italian national team, one of the best national teams on the globe. His first major event with this team was the wold cup in the year of 2006, where he would soon become world champions with his country.
